Well, I did my best with one of my friend's requests on DA. It was to his liking, as hopefully it is to yours. This is his character as he described it to me. Comments are welcome. Same with critique. :)

Something like that. He requested a metal left arm, so I gave him one for his character. I got lazy with the arm as you may see, but I hope that other people don't realize that. ^^; Thx Kit! :D

hehe i find the pose a little weird and gimme the impression that he is playing guitar (just take a look at the right hand) lol but thats all a good pic remains a good pic

Alright... criticism. Easy...
The right arm's elbow is way too skinny for all the fur and any muscle mass, if there's any there. The left arm's hand is jointed oddly, and while I know that it's supposed to be mechanical, the thumb's joint is located too much on the side of the hand.
And his tail is way too raised for all that hair... if he was a horse, he'd be getting ready to make a #2.
Oh, yeah, it works really well as an avatar.
