It has been awhile since I posted anything, art related ;)
So, instead of commenting others I'll share something to comment/critique on.

1. Two designs ( mainly the colour is what makes the difference) These are basically the same. The main idea was to use a tattoo like design on a random surface.

2. Something different, an avatar. :)

o.o wow. these are gorgeous i love the abstract figure of the first two wolves and the last one i must say is just absolutely beautiful. ilove all of the detail in the fur and then the sudden pop of shining blue. it's breathtaking.

Although the first two , as you said abstract figures, I tried not to get carried away with the style. However, I was more cautious with the last one in adding some unique traits , but not to much to spoil the simplicity.
And the best thing is, they are all done using a normal mouse. :)

Thanks for the kind comment. :)

wow. that's impecable that you were able to do all of that with a mouse. O.o i do not have that kind of control with a mouse.

It's hard and annoying at first, but with a little practice you can get the hang of it. Plus, some custom brushes, which you can also make to refine the fur with. :)
From my experience, the drawing of the basic shape(s) is time-consuming, however, there is no rush. So just take your time with it. :)

Btw...I've seen your earlier artworks and I'm sure you'd manage just fine. Keep it up. :)

i bet it's hard. XD it certainly looks it. but the custom brush is a very good idea indeed.

i may do okay but that, my friend, is from the help of a handy dandy tablet. XDXD if i tried any of the things i do with a mouse it would crash and burn. thanks though. it's nice to hear from more experienced artists if you're doing an okay job. ^^

I agree, using a tablet is a lot easier and saves you a lot of time and other problems, plus you can do better with a tablet. :)
In the end it all depends how you invest in it, and what of course. You invest in a tablet or invest in time , or both. XD.

lol. so true. ^^ i probably wouldn't even have the time to make a real masterpiece on even a tablet anyway with all my time being taken up with procrastination and stress over what i procrastinated on. ^^; well on second thought, if there are so many people out there that can draw wonderfully beautiful pieces with a mouse then maybe i can cheat and make something wonderfully beatiful with a tablet in the same amount of time. XDXD

and again, these pieces are AMAZING

I'm sure you can.

When I started, I was more on quantity then quality, but then I though...What if I do something worth looking at , rather than something others can easily do. I sort of got tired ( for some reason I'm tired right now lol. ) of the thought of not having the proper investment to continue so I continued with what I already had. ( it wasn't much ).
However, above all, if you do it from soul and not only to amaze others ( of course , comments are always welcome) than you get a greater satisfaction, in some cases it might even sharpen some of your skills, widen you perspective.

Thanks again. :)

wow. very insightful and true. quality is often better than quality. its certainly worth it to make something worth looking at ^^
