I think Alpha Luna would be better published when he's got some of it down, and the thing's a lot more fleshed out. Maybe two chapters/volumes would be good before someone should consider making a presentation or entreaty. That way, it shows that the author has something going on and is still continuing. There should be the scenes with Fang and Luna meeting/fighting (I know so, their personalities somewhat dictate so) and at least one or two baddies (beyond plain thugs/humans). Look at Directions of Destiny (http://directionsofdestiny.com/). He's getting it published, and he's had to redraw that twice before he could consider getting the story on track fast enough and effectively enough. Leo's good enough to consider that, but there needs to be more story before publishers would grant such an investment.

It depends when Leo wants to do it.

I would wait till a good story arc has been finished, then the reader can round off a good story. Off course it doesn't have to span the whole AL story from beginning to finish. I would suggest doing the first couple of chapters, where you are introduced to luna and here being a werewolf and her first couple of ventures, even maybe the first part of the main story arc.
Of course this iss all up to Leo
I think Leo is too busy with updates to both Luna and his old site to be bothered with publishing it right now. Maybe after the first two issues are completed, he can look into publishing. I know if he did, though, I'd be first on line to buy it! It would be the only werewolf manga/comic of its kind--featuring a sympathetic female werewolf. Think how many vampire comics there are out there ("Vampira," "Purgaturi," "Elvira," "Castlevania," "Buffy," to name just a few), and there are no good comics featuring WWs as the heroes! Leo could practically corner the market on this little-used, underappreciated niche.

Tyraelis was more than right with theme of publishing. I have a goal to at least have the first issues done with the story-line worked enough for people have an idea of what is this about  ...and because I've already talked about publishing with some people.., but the way is still too early and I'm busy as hell to invole in such compromise.
Patience... and enjoy the process :icon_wolf_paint:

If he did I would two copies of each one. One to read and one to keep in a collection.
I support the idea of publishing fully... once your farther along. I do agree that is the wisest path.

I'm surprised he hasnt got anything published the artwork is great! Since the comic is only so far, I cant really say anything about the story, but it looks good and hopefully this dude finds some good work.

I would buy his work ASAP. It's very high quality, and well worth the price.

I agree, I would rock if it were, but there needs to be more before that happens.

Leo is certainly capable going huge. Of course, it wouldn't come out in the UK (I was born in the wrong country) and the mag hasn't even been out that long. The popularity of Alphaluna is just going to be getting better.

i agree with everybody that alphaluna should be published. i have been reading other comics online and i have grown fonded of elgoonishshive, or egs. the author decided to publish it and i think it would be a great idea to publish it. if you want to read more more about egs, just go to egscomics.com
sorry if this offends anybody by writing another comic that people might not like.

I agree, I think it might be alittle too soon to publish Alpha Luna...maybe when its alittle ways into the story, but not now.

As far as publishing goes, I think that it would be important to finish the series beforehand. As you continue to develop it, make sure you have it copyrighted/patened somehow. Then yo take it to a publisher and get it published... or something like that. I don't think I'll ever get my stuff published.... well, maybe in a few years...lol.

Bull with years try countless days and nights. Not to mention the hours of detail to get every thing right. I would say at least 2010 before he finishes...lol

I think he should publish. I'm a die hard lycan fan. I read laurell k hamilton and kelly armstrong. I love this manga, it's very different and fresh. If he should publish it, I'll be one of the first to pre-order. :eyeroll2:

Publishing AL now would actually be a bad thing to do. Most of the mangas, comics, etc. that are published now have many people working on them, while Leo is doing most of the work himself. It would just make his life more hectic and cause alot of stress to meet the deadlines. And stress can lead to Leo not being able to do a swell of a job as he's doing now. And we all don't want Leo's work to be not as good as it is right now do we?

I would put down five chapters before publishing. Maybe four....but, a larger comic with that much good artwork would jump start his career. This, could also serve as a double-edged sword. He'd gain popularity, but people would expect pages all the time. Pacing yourself when you have to cope with the real world is the key to success.

He should publish it, just make a cleaner version of it. (blur/ tone down the nudity bleep the worst of the cursing, etc.) I want to show this to my 10 yr. old sister (who loves werewolves :) ) plus it widens his audience a bit.
And before I go I just want to say that some of the pages have som minor grammatical errors ( and yes, Grammatical is a real word. I think.)

first of all, no. it is clearly labeled as a comic for adults and mature teens and should stay so.
if he made an alternate version alongside this one....maybe.
and the grammatical errors are because english isn't leo's first language.

Let me see, if Leo publishes Alpha Luna, when the whole story is complete. I think the manga will belong in the Mature auidences or Adult section. Because of it's Transforming sequences and violence.
*ahem*
Some people in my Disneyland forum think this comic is eww... or dirty. The transformation sequence is the best and it is realsitic and kind of distrubing.... Most people are not mature enough to take it or they don't like those kind of stuff. Plus, the Visions Fantastic (aka Disneyland website and forum) are mostly young adults and adults, they are mostly Christian. They think this a satatic comic, WRONG!!
Anyway, I think Leo should publish, this a new and fresh comic and it is Damn good! I mean I will give out 5 out of 5 stars for this. It just need some grammar corrections that is all. Leo should work more often at this comic, after college...

I didn't ask about it. When I put the Alpha Luna website on my signature, so people can see and read it. But, the good thing is that most people didn't click the AL signature. Plus I didn't even tell them about it.
I'm just telling it might happen. Only a few people in VF forum click it.
