I'm no good doing faqs..so it may get some updates time to time... Ill start with the basic rules ...

Rules

1.- No derogatory or discriminatory comments will be tolerated, wether racial, sexual or whatever. This mean also a full respect for other people behavior without inputs of any offensive meaning, creating a uneasy atmosphere. Keep respectfully to the Admins and Moderators gudie they advice you.

2.- No illegal stuff to be posted here. Either Graphic porn or shocking images. ( But the Art Forum can accept Nude original/fan art) only if you set up a warning of the content in the topic!.

3.-For mature kind of theme, also there must be a warning in the topic title.

3.- Don't spam!, Flood either.

*This means also that isn't a good thing post 10 or more new threads at once or start replying all the threads that exist. Specially when those replies are 3 words and no more than 2 lines. The way to go is reply or start a thread because you really want to start something for good discussion and not for show and less for chating.

Some people mind to follow a theme instead seeing bunch of useless replies that create a new order for the htreads because useless replies. If you wanna chat , create your own topic when you introduce yourself.

4.-If you use any of my art for avatar or signatures this must NOT be edited at all. Only croped or size change, but no over writing or graphic / edit hange of any kind without my conscent.

About The Site.

- This is the Main and Official Forum of Alpha Luna's Comic . Although the first site to appear (On January 2004) was the Keenspace (http://alphaluna.keenspace.com) mirror , this Page www.Alphaluna.net it's actually what I wanted from the begining ^^. Hope to be online and working always (specially when comicgenesis happens to fail)...

- This Forum pretend to be a palce for fans about the Story, the character and this project as well for all what AL involes : Werewolves, werecreatures, Myths, supernatural themes...

Where should we report bugs?

For instance, I found that the smileys in the bottom of the "Add Reply" window happen to be slightly off of their respective "bubbles". Although this is minor.

Yopu mean "the post icons" above the add reply?. those comes for default with the forumand were suppoused to look fine under the opriginal skin , thats why :p. I dont know how replace them XD

Hm. Well, I was also wondering about the small squares with either red or green right next to the "Card" and "PM" buttons under the avatars. What is their purpose?

Now there are very small squares that are above the "card"... Im not sure if you're able to see them (maybe admin stuff) , they show the Warn status of any member. If you act as bad doggy youll regret that I push those squares up :evilwolf: ...thats remind me that I'd need to look for a mod :surprised:

Right under our titles, such as "member" or "Administrator"? Or are those to mark how many posts we've done (I'm talking about the grey ones that everyone can see)?

If you're talking about the space between the "Member No.: #" and the "Card" button/link, no, I can't see it.

uh.....on the little thingy under my avatar, it says "advanced member" and has three squares. please tell me, how many posts i need to get to four boxes, what my title will be on the fourth box, and how many boxs i can get total, and what are the names, and required number of posts.

I dont remember, but it's set up in the forum. Last time I added "new pup" for new comers... but then I didn't have any other ideas for the rest of the titles by posts.

I was thinking about the werewolf ranks thourhg age: pub, new shifter, hunter, warrior, gama wolf, beta...what else?. :wtf: ..give me ideas.

Go to Your Controls and check the Menu to your left "Options", and check Email Settings. There you can enable or disable " Send a confirmation email when I receive a new private message".

In fact check all your control options for more features.

errr...the prices varies a whole lot. It depends on the server which host your page.. Just remember that the more you pay, the ore functions you'll be allowed to use. Somes host pages for free, but force your to put ad(s) on your page in compensation. And if you're really, really unlucky, you might be stuck with a nasty xxx/hentai add on your site......
A good example of free web hosting would be Yahoo's geocities for webpages or InvisionFree and Vbulletin for forums. The trick is really to google it and to search for a server that fit your needs. and last but not least, make sure you're skilled enough in html language to build a page, or that you have, at least, someone that offered you to build one for you before even searching a sever...

Depends on the purpose your using it for.
If your gona go work with comics then comic genisus should be the right one for you, its free and user friendly.
You also need to know coding if you dont know it will cost something to have someone code it for you.

You also have to get a unique domain name that is easy to know and read so people dont give up on typing.

Myspace is the only one that really comes to mind as being a free possibility. Using Youtube to host your videos.

You can always start one up in the Free Rol Den. Just make a topic about your RP (details) then we can post our Characters and use it as an OOC topic. Then make a new one with the actual RP once enough people are on board.

Er......... any of you guys have problem seeing the eitire post when you go into it the slow way? Cause when i enter a topic i can only see the first 2 pages and some not even one. I had to press post reply inorder to see the other pages. Any of you guys have the same problem? And one more thing. I thought the minimum number of required characters are 10 to make a post. But it seem to have shot up to 50. Again anyone of you have the same problem?

(I just found out that the number of post per page is now 35 and not 15, so that is the reason why the pages suddenly drop by so much. Thanks for the info Wan.)
