Many people have already seen this, but if not then feel free to view it, save it or whatever. This is my character that I drew and colored for the comic I'm trying to make after being greatly influenced by Leo. Anyways, took me 11 hours, so I hope it's at least decient. It's the attatchment.... if it shows.... for the high quality one, click the link on my signature. I hope it appeases everyone here.

I already saw it on your gallery long time ago, and I think is nice. I like the mixture of this blonde girl with a blue coat of fur...strange but it looks cool. But I'd like to know how she'd look full werewolf?..I mean the muzzle and all :panting:

Nice picture, I could definitely tell it was someone's original drawing. Creative touch with the blue fur, though I'm confused about the static-y TV in the background.

I had many designs for that a long time ago that I haven't scanned. Perhaps I should make a full colored concept. Oh yeah... her hair color (the blonde) turns color when she fully transforms too.... if that helps out, because I have no clue if a blueish colored werewolf with blone hair would quite fit in... ^^;
I like the pic a lot Barrin. For some reason, she strikes me as a video game character, but since I'm a hopelessly obssesed gamer, that's unsurprising. One question though, to reiterate from a previous post, does the TV have any significance? It seems like you could work it into a story concept somehow. Maybe "Mad doctor infects patient with lycathropy, uses tv signal as trigger". Or maybe she just saw a shot of a full moon, or some nature show on rabbits :wink:

Unfortunately, the TV has no significance. It's just there lol. However, this part will be in my comic. You'll see later on. I think this will be for my 2nd issue, so it will be a while before this scene.

The hai turns color when shifted?...Mmm on blue too?. You should try both cocnepts and see what works better. Blonde could work on other areas of her body...maybe...who knows.

Hmmm.... I'll give that a shot! :) I finally got a new sketch finished and ready to scan today, so I'll see what you guys think before I color it. :) I'll upload it in a bit.
EDIT: Ok. I got it scanned. Here's the uncolored version for now. I'll come up with the colored one in a bit.
sweet i think it looks great and i like it with her keeping her blond hair though i wont say witch is better till i see both ways :woof:

Nie design barrin ! :closedgrin: I like the emotion of the character , specially in the face more to the left and the big one side above. The full werewolf design looks cool so far , there her muzzle looks a bit smaller than the big wolf face in the bottom left... now, what about coloring her hair through her back and her full tail blonde aswel?. That would give the feeling that the tails is an extension of her hair looks. :smile:
Now i would work more on the human design,. her hips and arms are a little out of shape . Remember work on the body with the same interest yo do for the face that look cute so far.
I'd like to try to help you a bit if you let me edit the pic. Anyway keep it up! :icon_wolf_paint:

WOw! Thx leo! :) I should have to colored pic by tomorrow. It's taking me some time due to my homework and all, but pretty soon it should be done both ways. About the human structure.... yeah... i'm still a beginner. Anyways, I'm thinking about buying one of those wooden poseable dolls for that to help me out a bit. If you want to edit the pic, go ahead! :) It would be a honor for some advise from a pro. :)

Yeah, I used to play magic. I used to have a good bouncer/ counterspell blue deck, but now I do more drawing than anything. Perhaps I'll get back into magic someday. I'm hoping to use both my Barrin, Master Wizard cards again. Good eye you have for that btw. :)

I like it alot. I perfer the one where the hair and fur match. I think if her hair stays blonde it is know distracting is like "why is her hair blonde while the rest of her is blue?"

2 votes here for the 3rd one. I have one vote (i think) for the blonde hair and tail from deviant art, and 2 for the Blonde hair and blue tail from deviant art. I'll give this a couple more days. I'm wondering what Leo thinks about this and whether or not he can help out.

Well, is her hair (non-body) growing at all? I don't think the tail would be blonde, so it definitely wouldn't be the first. However, if you look at the third one, it roughly resembles Luna in therian wolf form.
So basically, if her scalp hair doesn't grow at all, it would remain blonde, but if it grew a bit every time it was used, then she could have blue roots for her hair.
Mmm... the one with only blue its looks ok but it's an oposite character as the human design. I think you'd need to look for a coloring design that looks like her on both shapes. The one with only blonde hair I think won't work...because all people will wonder why the rest of her body is blue ...the third (my idea I guess :P)its ok but somehow I dont think it works yet...so I tried bringing something now.
I think you could have made a little research about werewolf fur pattern and you could have found that there exist blonde wolves, or white- brown with some blonde arround.... so I think you didn't have to follow other werewolf art standar concepts (like talbain..you know) in coloring and maybe look for your own.
It doesn't have to be just 2 colors either, she could have more on her. And does have to be blue?.... :wink: who knows..just don't focus on blonde and blue, you still can keep looking for.
Now what I made were some tries.

From left to right:
- The First : I repleaced you white coloring on her body for blonde on those parts...check the color change on her legs, I think it looks better.
- Second: This Gray it may mix better with blonde...its a more normal color (earth color). That's al...but remember it's all up to you.
-Third: 3 colors. White , blonde and blue. The pattern looks better here, I think it suit her and it could make of her an original werewolf character. You could may look for other color and use the same 3 patterns and see what works better.
- 4, the same as the second just to try adding white..
If you like one o them... go ahead ^^. Hope you didn't bother, me taking this permission with your character. Anyway, Barrin you should at the end belive in what your really like, and not neccesary what I did or what do get more votes... Just feel what is better for what you want to do with your work. :icon_wolf_paint:

Wow! I like your idea much better Leo! Yeah, I should have guessed that you knew what werewolf my original colors came from. :) What can I say? I like Darkstalkers! :) Anyways, I really seem to like the 4th one that is in your color concept. So I think I will go with that. The comic may be in black and white, but I do need a color concept for the next issue's cover. ^^; Anyways, thx again Leo! This really does help me with my comic! :)

Hey, what can I say.
You learn how to draw better with expierence.
Later on in life, give or take 5 years, and compare your works.
Next thing you will say, "I drew that, man did I suck compared to what I do today".
You will feel better about yourself because your artwork became better than what it was before.
Barrin i like the all blue one so i guess that makes 3 votes for it.
Leo is right it only matters what you really think and like so take pride in the great work you do. :closedgrin:
oh and Leo i like the 4th one you did though i can't tell the difference between it and the 3rd. :eyebrow: :laugh:

Thx! It will be finished sooner or later. Not to mention all the issues that I hope to include with this. It's at a slug's pace, but it will get done as I learn a bit more about photoshop and such. :)

suspose it shows how much people love to see art work, and i suspose it certainly gives you the boost of confidence to draw more stuff ... anyone got any good site to draw wolfs or other animal- mainly basic shapes cus i like to see what will come up with.

Perhaps... Some people say that they liked the situation, so maybe if I make some situational pics instead. BAH!!!! Pretty soon I'm gonna submit what I have of someone's request for a transformation sequence. I drew out my next comic page already, so I just need to ink it and shade it in. However, the transformation seems to be taking me a while. I dunno if I should put too much effort into it since the guy who requested it was:
1.) Someone I have not heard of on AIM (Lycanthrope 473somethingoranother...)
2.) As soon as he or she said hi, he/she immediately wanted a request and put down exactly what was wanted in the pic.
3.) Wanted it in a comic sequence longer than one page (I guess it will have to be...)
Now, me being me, I couldn't say no because I thought it would be rude, but I don't want this to get in the way of my primary drawings. What should I do? Color? No color? Ink or no ink? Leave it as a sketch?
Anyways, yeah.... be expecting a new scrap piece from me this week. ^^;
