No.

On topic:

Welcome to the forums, etc.

Just don't go prattling on about things that would make this place suitable for an Awful Link Of the Day, and you should be fine.

LOL! I do believe I am amused. ^^ For me this site is actually rather large ^^;; I am used to forums that have around maybe 17 people in them. And actually as far as meeting people goes, normally I steer clear of people in general, but when it comes to something such as Weres/wolves, I'm game. Let's see, what are some of my interests, hmm. Well, I write. Alot. And I am hoping to get my own manga off the ground eventually. ( -cough- right) I looove to draw and I am utterly obsessed with anime. I'm a little old school though(sorta) because G-wing is my favorite of all time. DNAngel is another awesome one, as well as Loveless. ( I am a sucker for Bishies) Also I am a big gamer. Any game that involves something blowing up or me running around with sharp pointy objects I love.

Movies? Well I am obsessed with Pirates of the Carribean (OMG #2 ish coming out soon!!). LOL As for the Awful link of the day, I unfortunately do know what that is and I am not nearly as sheltered from the horrors of the internets as one might think. -shudder cringe convulse- Two words: Floor Chan. -twitch-

Plz son sorta is right. G-wing is hardly old school. Old school is Gatchaman, Mobile Suit Gundam, Robotech/Macross, Rocketboy, and Speedracer (even though it sucks...).

Not only is G-wing not old school, it's also pretty damn terrible. I dare anyone to name one likeable character from that entire series.

Speaking of Mobile Suit Gundam, if you want to see that entire franchise at it's best: Mobile Suit Gundam: 08th MS Team. Can you say "character development"?

Last, but not least, let's hear it for Robotech/Macross.

I like Gwing because of Heero Yuy. There are many reasons behind my liking of this particular series that I do not wish to go into depth about right now. I call it old school because where I live anytime I ask anyone about it they are all like " What is thaaat?" Gatchamon was one that I watched when I was like 12 and Mobile suit gundam irritated me because the Gundam looked like a lego starwars thinger. I will admit that I highly enjoyed Gatchamon however. People running around saving the world in bird suit? Come on, What's not to love lol! Robotech is awesome. I used to LOVE Voltron too. Yay for big metal kitty cats!

My God, can it be? Zen and I have something in common? Or at least we agree on something? Dear God! Run for your bomb shelter the apocalypse is coming!!
Seriously though, Zen how much Macross have you watched? So far all I'm missing is Macross 2, Robotech the Sentinels (or are they the same thing?), and Macross the movie.

Blasphemy, Mobile Suit Gundam had the best story out of the lot (IMO). Personally, Gundam Seed is CRAP, its Zeta Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam combined. Heck its as true to the Gundam storyline as G Gundam was.
BTW - there is a new Gatchaman coming out. I'm am excited it looks awesome.

No. Nnnnoo. Bad. Hero Yuy was an emo little nancy boy who couldn't hold a candle to pilots like Ramba Ral (who thoroughly bitch-slapped Amuro) Norris Packard (Holy shit! How many gun tanks did he smoke with just his gouf!?) and, though I am loathe to admit it, Kou Uraki (he was a whiner, but Zephyranthes was badass, I don't care what people say.)

I'm actually missing the same things you are. They're suprisingly hard to track down(at least around here.) Other than that, I've completed the list. If you haven't checked it out already, Robotech: Battlecry is a decent game. You get to see the SDF 1 and all. Pretty damn sweet.

Favorite mech from Robotech/Macross:

That's how I roll. The M.A.C. II Monster.

As for the last bit about the story of the original gundam: No. You haven't seen 08th MS Team, have you?

And, Seed actually has a bit of Wing thrown in for good measures. You can even pick out which mobile suit is modeled after which.

The wild one

Only thing that im interested in these kind of series(as far as the gundam universe is concerned) are the big ass robots with guns and , well..just machines of war in general. Big stompy things armed to the teeth make me happy! ,especially the titans of w40k(for those who dont know, they are massive walking constructs with so many massive guns that they can level entire citys, so new york...BEWARE!)

oh.. and to stay on topic. A big :welcome: to you innocent Darkness!. Hope you have a good time here!

Mobile suit gundam was absolutely amazing. I was hooked on that show for a while in my younger years even though it dealt with topics I would never have understood at the time.

BTW :welcome:

Moving on, you do indeed sound like an interesting person, to say the least. I myself am obsessed with gaming - World of Warcraft anyone (come on... you have to love the Son's of Arugal and his werewolf minions!) So, I can defenitely connect there. Oh, and I haven't had much contact with Zen, however, don't mind him too much. He tends to come off as a little bit of an asshole, but we love him for it.

Welcome to the boards. Glad to see you joined a quality community - our interests are broad and varied. I think you will find it an inviting place to be.

Oh, and watch out for Of Wolf and Man - he tends to slink around the perversion section of the website... /creeeeepy (I jk). Welcome!

Yes I have, watched it when it was on Cartoon Network. I like 8th because it showed the mass production of the GM and Gundam Mobile Suits.
