It caught me off guard, but I then realized, it couldn't say my account was suspended until I tried logging in.

That happens when you go directly to the forum instead of the site. I got about 4 emails asking why their account were suspended believing they were banned or something XD
Well, apparently the site ran out of bandwidth or there was an error with the bills which were paid correctly this month. Wathever the reason my friend Pedro who is a tech wiz lifted the blocking before the hosting provider could figure out what happened. Anyway Hope it doesn't happen again.
