As the pack runs through the wood the scents and sounds of the woods fill you, the grass, a nearby stream, the hoot's of owls, and dozens of small animals that scampered out of your way as you pass. Eventually you reach a small break in the tree line, not a clearing, just a place where the rocky ground blocked anything from growling, and you see mountain lion eating a deer. It's eyes lock on the pack and in snarlers, this is it's kill. However, you seemed to have found a game-trail, fallowing it should lead you to the rest of the deer.
If you looked into my soul you would see a wolf staring back into your's.

The big cat didn't need to tell them twice - Ellis knew when they were in over their heads.

He gestured to Fare that they leave this guy alone - it wouldn't be a good idea to rob him of his prize, especially considering that they just didn't have the pack size necessary for taking this guy head-on.

Jay's larger than average wolf-size had put him in bad spots in the past. Once a hunter had seen him and a 2 week long expedition was sent out to try and find and kill him. Nearly two whole feet longer than the average wolf and a good foot and a half taller at the shoulder, his sheer size is astounding. He'd spent a few months living in the wild, like this but it wasn't something he liked to do.
He chuckled as he thought about all the scientists and people who study animals would think he was the leader of the pack, when in reality he's just a follower of the pack. Stopping a brief moment to look at the cougar, then dips his head to the ground sniffing for more deer scent. Once there he looked over at Fare and pawed at the ground and sniffed it again. While the hunt was just starting and exciting... he couldn't help but let his eyes wander over to brown wolf running beside him. Oh the agony, to be so close and yet so far. he thought to himself as he followed her with his eyes.

John, like his fellow pack mates, wanted to leave the cougar alone. He decided to walk silently past is without disrupting it. His wolf senses began to kick up, he he sniffed about for some young bucks to overtake. His muscles were relaxed, and nothing seemed to out-of-the-ordinary.

Roberto looked at the lion as it snarled at him. "Man I'm starting to get hungry myself." thought Roberto as he cautiosly went pass the the lion. "This feels like I'm back at boot camp." Roberto said to himself.
